The work is the result of a collaboration between Harvard University, Padova City Council and Padova Industrial Zone (ZIP). Under the supervision of Prof. Carl Steinitz, I organized and developed a two- year research project on one of the largest and most significant industrial landscapes in northern Italy. The project dealt with the design of a wide area in the city of Padova that included 1050 hectares of industrial zone and 190 hectares of green areas (the so-called Roncajette park). The work primarily focused on water treatment systems and sought to promote a ‘green’ industrial park connected to Padova and the surrounding region.
